MACON
Widely used in the wine industry, the Macon fitting, also known as the wine maker's fitting, originated in the Lyon region. This type of fitting has been widely used throughout France and also in other wine producing countries (Spain, Italy, Germany...).
A Macon wine fitting is designed to be easily disassembled and cleaned, thus facilitating the maintenance of the piping. It is composed of a male part (threaded nose), a female part (liner), a round notched nut and a flat seal.
