DIN 11851 316 1.4436 fittings
DIN 11851 fittings made from 316 (1.4436) stainless steel are at greater risk of wear when subjected to high temperatures, particularly during welding.
Due to the high carbon content, there is a risk of a chromium carbide rich zone forming in some areas, which reduces the protective layer of chromium oxide, limiting corrosion.
The DIN 11851 316 fittings consist of a liner, a threaded part, a semi-toric (D) joint and a lock nut. They are available from DN 10 to DN 150.
